Stop the Red Wave

Europe is poor, damaged and politically unstable. Use American economic aid to prevent communism spreading into Western Europe.

1Choose a countryTouch France, Italy, Greece, West Germany, Britain or the Netherlands.
2Control the flowLimited aid can hold the line. Use stronger aid briefly, then reduce or redirect it.
3Prevent a domino effectIf one country falls, communist pressure rises in nearby countries. Several fallen neighbours can trigger a chain reaction.
The game uses a simplified first-year aid reserve. The real Marshall Plan provided about $13 billion between 1948 and 1952.
